Dr. Sasso joined Digestive Diseases Consultants of Kankakee in 2008. He attended Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa where he received his Doctor of Osteopath medical degree. After medical school he completed his post graduate training at Midwestern University in Oak Lawn, IL and University of Illinois in Chicago. He completed his medical education and training with a fellowship in Gastroenterology.
Dr. Sasso is board certified in Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, Illinois Academy of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, American College of Osteopathic Internists, Illinois State Medical Society and Kankakee County Medical Society.
His Professional Appointments are as follows: Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Midwestern University, Downers Grove, IL - 2010, Board Certification in Gastroenterology - 2005 and Board Certification in Internal Medicine - 2004.
